I wish I could say the silver was just to make a statement, but really they are covering up my reverse stamping mistakes.
My nails have been reduced to nubs. I'm crying on the inside, but it was completely necessary; they were getting way too long and unhealthy. It's nice to have a fresh start, and short nails are so refreshing, but I can't wait until they get a bit longer so I can square them out. This is physically as short as they would go, so I would file off the tips of my finger if I tried to shape them now, and that would be bad.
My thoughts on reverse stamping (you probably want to google it first if you don't know what it is):
Maybe this wouldn't be as time consuming if I had more that one stamper, but since I only have one, it took waaay too long to wait for the clear coat I used to dry before I could peel it off without distorting the design. I tried my Seche Vite, and although it dried quickly, it got too hard and didn't sit well. I'll probably try again someday, but for now, reverse stamping is not something I'll jump for.
