I meant to keep updating on my nail polish shopping purchases, but I've been super bad about it... I'll try harder, I promise.
It's been a while since I updated on how my Instagram adventures are going, and a couple exciting things have happened. First: I posted some recreations of @naildesignsbyjulie for a contest she was hosting, and I was one of the four winners! Second: I was part of a spring floral collab, which was super fun. Third: I reached 2K followers (2842 as of this exact moment)
Here's to more insta-adventures. I was part of a Valentine's Day collaboration with a ton of other nail painters on Instagram, so I thought I'd share it here too! ♥
My celebratory selfie! I reached 1000 followers on my instagram account, and I just have to say that the instagram nail community is absolutely incredible. I have met so many fantastic peoople, and everybody is so sweet and supportive. Yay for social media. ♥
I did my friend's nails a week or two ago! We just kept piling on the obnoxiousness. Products used:
- Teal blue base - Wet n Wild Megalast in I Need a Refresh-Mint - Pink splatter - acrylic paint - Glitter - Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Disco Ball I made an instagram account a few days ago! There are so many super talented people and incredible accounts, and I thought it would be fun to join the nail-painting extravaganza that goes on there. It is actually part of what inspired me to get into nail art as much as I am, and I love to look at other people's pictures (nail-related or otherwise).
Anyways, back to the point: follow me on instagram (@perns.polish) I was put on a kind of nail polish ban for the past few months to keep me from buying more nail polish (My friend is convinced I have a serious problem. It's probable.) I was technically supposed to wait until our break started, but I figure, close enough. Hopefully you will get to see these in my nail art soon! Also, feel free to request swatches. These were purchased from Winn Dixie. They are the Sally Hansen Diamond Strength line. From left to right: Lavender Marquis, Diamonds and Rubies, Glass Slipper, Honeymoon Red, and Antique Bronze I went to Walgreens and found (from left to right) Wet n Wild Megalast in Tropicalia, Wet n Wild Megalast in Wet Cement, Wet n Wild Fastdry in SaGreena the Teenage Witch, and Rimmel 60 Second in Sweet Lavender.
*Note that Tropicalia isn't as orange as the picture makes it out to be. It actually has more pink to it, like a coral color. Sorry I haven't posted anything on this portion of this page for over a month! In case you didn't notice, I revamped my page over the past two days! I hope you like it, feel free to leave any feedback. I had to mess around with some of the old formatting, but I did not change any of the content, as tempting as it was.
