I meant to post this earlier, but I felt really sick last night, so my posting schedule is a little off right now. I'm feeling better, so hopefully I'll be able to catch up soon. Anyways, I love this design.

Some funky combination of saran wrap and dry marble. It's sooo bright and neon in person, the pictures really don't do it any justice. Not very seasonally appropriate, but I needed something bright to distract me from the cold and gloomy weather. Also, we were having some sort of neon day for ant-bullying week at my school, so I figured it was fitting.
Simple cutout and polka dots, cute and girly. This was inspired by a dress I have. I put a picture below, if you want to see it, click "Read More."
Some floral was long overdue. I love them, but unfortunately, I kinda suck at them, haha. That's alright, I shall keep practicing! Also experimenting with a new background. Click "Read More" to see this design against black.
Straight from Bikini Bottom, Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star. This only took me forever to do, but it was so worth it!
How yummy looking is this? Don't judge me, I was really hungry. Pizza featuring pepperoni, peppers, and olives as toppings.
My first semi-successful water marble. It still needs a lot of work, but I find the whole process to be so frustrating and not really worth the time, effort, and amount of nail polish wasted. Maybe it I have 5 hours or so to spare I'll give it another go. If you want some close ups, click "Read More."
Super easy and don't really require much artistic ability! Click "Read More" to see how to do this!
Simple swirly tips. They were originally meant to be in a kind of floral rose formation, but they don't really look it. That's okay, they're still pretty.
I swear this looks neater in person, but it turned out super messy looking in all of the pictures. I really love these, regardless.
I love the show How I Met Your Mother. The thumb has sparkles because Robin Sparkles, the yellow umbrella, a suit, the blue french horn, and "Legendary," even though it's not very legible in the picture. It's brighter in person.
I love the whole negative space thing. I was hesitant to do it before because my nail is a little discolored, but it ended up loving it!
I don't think I like this very much, but hopefully some tea-lover out there will. Inspired by a mug I got my wonderful friend Karina for Christmas... and then went to her house and drank tea from it because that's how cute it is. (Click "Read More to see a picture of it.)
Fun Fact: Peacocks are only male (even though most people use the label incorrectly). The female peafowl is not as extravagantly colored.
Playing off the sideways French manicure trend, except this is more crescent shaped, and extends farther onto the front of the nail. I like it; simple and classy.
I never really understood how people have enough patience for this kind of glitter placement, but after trying it, I totally understand; there's something strangely fun about it. I want to do one that covers my entire nail when I get the time, but for now, here's a kinda gradient-ish thing.
Inspired by some "alien writing" from the television show Marvel's Agents of SHIELD on ABC. (I'm a sucker for the whole super hero thing.) This is how I am dealing with TV withdrawal while my shows are on hiatus. Even if you don't watch, this is still a cool design.
I've never attempted a face this detailed; I just assumed I would fail at it. She's not perfect, and she should look a little bit more sassy, but this turned out pretty cute all things considered.
Fun Fact: My favorite friend is Chandler Bing. First post of 2015, and it is appropriately of one of my favorite television shows ever, Friends. (Now it's on Netflix for 2015 so go watch it if you don't already.) My life is pretty much one continuous Friends reference.
Anyways, this is the iconic frame on the purple door, the Central Perk coffee shop sign and symbol, and the colorful dots that separate the Friends title. |
